The cancellation was not initiated by me or my medical staff. Rather, it was the direct result of your parents arriving with legal counsel, presenting documentation regarding your status as a minor in your home jurisdiction (while your passport clearly showed that you were of the legal age of 18), and threatening judicial action against my practice if I proceeded. Faced with this formal legal intervention, I was forced to suspend the surgery. At that time, your father, Yevhen Shneyderis Anbinder, signed a formal legal agreement releasing our clinic from liability and acknowledging the circumstances of the cancellation.
Regarding your request for a refund: because the surgery was halted at the very last minute, the funds you provided were entirely allocated to cover the non-refundable costs of the operating room, medical supplies, and the specialized staff who were already engaged for your care. Therefore, my clinic cannot issue a refund. Any grievances regarding the financial loss or the cancellation itself must be directed to your family, as their intervention directly caused this outcome.
Furthermore, me and my legal counsel are aware of the negative public comments you have been posting about our clinic. The legal agreement signed by your father explicitly protects the practice from such disparagement. If these misguided comments continue, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action against your father—as the signatory of that agreement—for breach of contract and defamation.
